Ibn Majah also related it in the Book of Manners, chapter on names that are disliked, no. 3729, from the hadith of Abu Ahmad Zubayri with this wording, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, 4/274, and Dhahabi agreed with him. It has corroborating narrations in Muslim, no. 2136, and Abu Dawud, no. 4960, and others. Muslim also related it, no. 2138, from the hadith of Abu Zubayr, who heard Jabir bin Abdullah narrate it, conveying the prohibition at greater length.
