حدثنا محمد بن عبد الملك بن أبي الشوارب حدثنا أبو عوانة حدثنا أبو عثمان شيخ له

Muslim also reported it in the Book of Manners, chapter on the permissibility of saying "my son" to someone who is not one's son, and its being recommended as a form of affection, hadith 2151, from the hadith of Abu Awana with the same chain.There is also a narration on this subject from Mughira [Muslim, hadith: 2152] and Umar bin Abu Salama [previously mentioned: 1857].
