[Sahih]Takhrij: Agreed upon (Bukhari and Muslim). Muslim narrated it in the Book of Salam, chapter on bad omens, omens taken from birds, and what causes ill fortune, no. 2225, from Muhammad bin Abu Umar, and Bukhari, no. 5093, from the hadith of Zuhri through the same chain.On this topic there are also narrations from Sahl bin Saad [Bukhari, no. 2859, and Muslim, no. 2226], Ayesha [Ahmad, 6/85], and Anas [Abu Dawud, no. 3924].The hadith, "If ill fortune were to be found in anything..." is agreed upon (Bukhari, no. 2859, and Muslim, no. 2226).As for the hadith of Hakeem bin Muawiya, Tabarani narrated it, 3/208, no. 3148, from the hadith of Ismail bin Ayyash through the same chain. This hadith has corroborating narrations in Ibn Majah, no. 1993, and elsewhere, so it is hasan.
