We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and she mentioned the hadith in full, until a man came as the sun had risen and said, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah."She meant that the Prophet ﷺ was wearing two worn cloaks that had been dyed with saffron, though the color had faded, and the Prophet ﷺ had with him a palm branch.

قدمنا على رسول الله ﷺ فذكرت الحديث بطوله حتى جاء رجل وقد ارتفعت الشمس فقال السلام عليك يا رسول الله فقال رسول الله ﷺ وعليك السلام ورحمة الله وعليه تعني النبي ﷺ أسمال مليتين كانتا بزعفران وقد نفضتا ومع النبي ﷺ عسيب نخلة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Sourcing: Abu Dawud also related it, in the Book of Land Tax, Chapter on the Allotment of Lands, no. 3070, through the hadith of Abdullah bin Hassan by this route. No one deemed him trustworthy except Firdawsi, whom Ibn Hibban deemed trustworthy, and Safiyyah and Duhaybah were deemed trustworthy by no one except Ibn Hibban.
