Salama bin Akwa reported,
I led the mount of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ along with Hasan and Husayn on his white mule until I brought him into the Prophet's ﷺ chamber, one of them in front of him and the other behind him.

عن إياس بن سلمة عن أبيه قال
لقد قدت نبي الله ﷺ والحسن والحسين على بغلته الشهباء حتى أدخلته حجرة النبي ﷺ هذا قدامه وهذا خلفه

, hadith no. 2423, from Abbas bin Abdul-Azim, with the same wording.There are also narrations on this subject from Ibn Abbas [Bukhari, no. 1798] and Abdullah bin Jafar [Muslim, no. 2428].
