The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you lies on his back, he should not place one leg over the other."This hadith has been narrated by more than one transmitter from Sulayman Taymi. The identity of this Khidash is unknown, though Sulayman Taymi narrated more than one hadith from him.
حدثنا عبيد بن أسباط بن محمد القرشي حدثنا أبي حدثنا سليمان التيمي عن خداش عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا استلقى أحدكم على ظهره فلا يضع إحدى رجليه على الأخرى هذا حديث رواه غير واحد عن سليمان التيمي ولا يعرف خداش هذا من هو وقد روى له سليمان التيمي غير حديث
[Sahih] Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Clothing and Adornment," chapter "The Prohibition of Wrapping Oneself in a Single Garment Leaving No Opening, and Sitting with the Knees Drawn Up Wrapped in a Single Garment... etc.," hadith 2099, from the hadith of Abu Zubayr, in the same manner as will come after it, no. 2767.
