The Prophet ﷺ used to trim his moustache, and Ibrahim, the friend of the Most Merciful, used to do the same.
حدثنا محمد بن عمر بن الوليد الكندي الكوفي حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن إسرائيل عن سماك عن عكرمة
كان النبي ﷺ يقص أو يأخذ من شاربه وكان إبراهيم خليل الرحمن يفعله
[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it (1/301) from the hadith of Simak, Ahmad (1/301) from the hadith of Simak with the same wording. The chain of Simak from Ikrima is daif. Refer to Tahdhib and other works.
