A man said, "Messenger of Allah, when one of us meets his brother or his friend, should he bow to him?"He replied, "No."The man asked, "Should he embrace him and kiss him?"He replied, "No."The man asked, "Should he take his hand and shake it?"He replied, "Yes."

قال رجل يا رسول الله الرجل منا يلقى أخاه أو صديقه أينحني له قال لا قال أفيلتزمه ويقبله قال لا قال أفيأخذ بيده ويصافحه قال نعم
Its chain of transmission is daif. Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Manners, Chapter on Handshaking, no. 3702, from the hadith of Hanzala bin Ubaydullah, and it is daif as stated in Taqrib and elsewhere. Part of the hadith has corroborating narrations, but they too are daif.
