The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Do you know what Allah's right over His servants is?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "His right over them is that they worship Him and not associate anything with Him."He then asked, "Do you know what their right over Him is when they do that?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "That He will not punish them."This hadith is hasan sahih, and it has been narrated through more than one route from Muaz bin Jabal.
