The Prophet ﷺ said, "This fire of yours that you kindle is one part out of seventy parts of the heat of Hell."They said, "By Allah, even this would have been sufficient, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "It has been increased by sixty-nine parts, each of them like its heat."
حدثنا سويد أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا معمر عن همام بن منبه
عن النبي ﷺ قال ناركم هذه التي توقدون جزء واحد من سبعين جزءا من حر جهنم قالوا والله إن كانت لكافية يا رسول الله قال فإنها فضلت بتسعة وستين جزءا كلهن مثل حرها
Takhrij: Also narrated by Muslim in the Book of Paradise and Its Delights, chapter, "Hell, may Allah protect us from it," hadith 2843, from the hadith of Maamar, through the same route, and it is in Sahifah Hammam bin Munabbih, hadith 12.
