The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah created Paradise and Hell, He sent Jibreel to Paradise and said, 'Look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its people.'So he came to it and looked at it and at what Allah had prepared in it for its people. Then he returned to Him and said, 'By Your might, no one will hear of it without entering it.'Then He commanded that it be surrounded with hardships, and said, 'Return to it and look at what I have prepared in it for its people.'So he returned to it, and found it now surrounded with hardships. He went back to Him and said, 'By Your might, I fear that no one will enter it.'He said, 'Go to Hell and look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its people.'He found it with its flames consuming one another. He returned to Him and said, 'By Your might, no one will hear of it and then enter it.'Then He commanded that it be surrounded with desires, and said, 'Return to it.'So he returned to it, then said, 'By Your might, I fear that no one will escape it, but everyone will enter it.'"
