The Prophet ﷺ said, "The whiteness of a woman's leg among the women of Paradise can be seen through seventy garments, until even her marrow is visible. That is because Allah says, 'as though they were rubies and coral' [Rahman 55:58]. As for the ruby, it is a stone such that if you were to pass a thread through it and then hold it up clear, you would see the thread through it."Hannad reported to us, Ubayda bin Humayd reported to us, from Ata bin Saaib, from Amr bin Maymun, from Abdullah bin Masud, from the Prophet ﷺ, a similar report.Hannad reported to us, Abu Ahwas reported to us, from Ata bin Saaib, from Amr bin Maymun, from Abdullah bin Masud, something similar in meaning, but he did not trace it back to the Prophet. This version is more sound than the report of Ubayda bin Humayd. Jareer and several others likewise narrated it from Ata bin Saaib without tracing it back to the Prophet.Qutayba reported to us, Jareer reported to us, from Ata bin Saaib, a report like that of Abu Ahwas. The companions of Ata did not trace it back to the Prophet, and this is more sound.
