The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you of something better in rank than fasting, prayer, and charity?"They replied, "Yes, please do."He said, "Reconciling between people, for corruption of relations between people is the shaver."
حدثنا هناد حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن سالم بن أبي الجعد عن أم الدرداء
قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبركم بأفضل من درجة الصيام والصلاة والصدقة قالوا بلى قال صلاح ذات البين فإن فساد ذات البين هي الحالقة
Its chain is daif. Abu Dawud also narrated it in the Book of Manners, in the chapter on reconciling between people, hadith 4919, through the hadith of Abu Muawiya al-Darir, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 1982, as did Ibn Hajar, and the hadith has daif supporting narrations.
