Abu Dharr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah the Exalted says, 'My servants, all of you are astray except those I have guided, so ask Me for guidance and I will guide you. All of you are poor except those I have enriched, so ask Me and I will provide for you. All of you are sinners except those I have pardoned. Whoever among you knows that I have the power to forgive and seeks My forgiveness, I will forgive him and I will not care.If the first of you and the last of you, the living among you and the dead, the fresh among you and the dry, were all to gather upon the most pious heart of any one of My servants, that would not increase My dominion by so much as the wing of a gnat. And if the first of you and the last of you, the living among you and the dead, the fresh among you and the dry, were all to gather upon the most wicked heart of any one of My servants, that would not decrease My dominion by so much as the wing of a gnat.If the first of you and the last of you, the living among you and the dead, the fresh among you and the dry, were all to assemble in one open plain and each person were to ask Me whatever his hopes could reach, and I were to grant every one of you whatever he asked, that would not decrease what I possess except as if one of you were to pass by the sea, dip a needle into it, and then lift it out. That is because I am Generous and Glorious, doing whatever I will. My giving is a word and My punishment is a word. When I will a thing, My command for it is only to say to it, Be, and it is.'"He said, this is a good hadith. Some have narrated this hadith from Shahr bin Hawshab from Maadi Kareeb from Abu Dharr from the Prophet ﷺ in similar wording.

حدثنا هناد حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن ليث عن شهر بن حوشب عن عبد الرحمن بن غنم

عن أبي ذر قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ يقول الله تعالى يا عبادي كلكم ضال إلا من هديته فسلوني الهدى أهدكم وكلكم فقير إلا من أغنيت فسلوني أرزقكم وكلكم مذنب إلا من عافيت فمن علم منكم أني ذو قدرة على المغفرة فاستغفرني غفرت له ولا أبالي ولو أن أولكم وآخركم وحيكم وميتكم ورطبكم ويابسكم اجتمعوا على أتقى قلب عبد من عبادي ما زاد ذلك في ملكي جناح بعوضة ولو أن أولكم وآخركم وحيكم وميتكم ورطبكم ويابسكم اجتمعوا على أشقى قلب عبد من عبادي ما نقص ذلك من ملكي جناح بعوضة ولو أن أولكم وآخركم وحيكم وميتكم ورطبكم ويابسكم اجتمعوا في صعيد واحد فسأل كل إنسان منكم ما بلغت أمنيته فأعطيت كل سائل منكم ما سأل ما نقص ذلك من ملكي إلا كما لو أن أحدكم مر بالبحر فغمس فيه إبرة ثم رفعها إليه ذلك بأني جواد ماجد أفعل ما أريد عطائي كلام وعذابي كلام إنما أمري لشيء إذا أردته أن أقول له كن فيكون قال هذا حديث حسن وروى بعضهم هذا الحديث عن شهر بن حوشب عن معدي كرب عن أبي ذر عن النبي ﷺ نحوه
