The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever forsakes fine clothing out of humility before Allah, while being able to afford it, Allah will summon him on the Day of Resurrection before all of creation and let him choose whichever of the garments of faith he wishes to wear."This is a sound hadith. The meaning of "garments of faith" refers to the robes of Paradise that will be granted to the people of faith.

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من ترك اللباس تواضعا لله وهو يقدر عليه دعاه الله يوم القيامة على رءوس الخلائق حتى يخيره من أي حلل الإيمان شاء يلبسها هذا حديث حسن ومعنى قوله حلل الإيمان يعني ما يعطى أهل الإيمان من حلل الجنة
