We were tested alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with hardship, and we endured patiently. Then after him we were tested with prosperity, and we did not endure patiently.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا أبو صفوان عن يونس عن الزهري عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن
ابتلينا مع رسول الله ﷺ بالضراء فصبرنا ثم ابتلينا بالسراء بعده فلم نصبر
Isnad grading, [Its isnad is daif] * Zuhri narrated with "an" (indicating possible discontinuity), and the hadith has corroborating reports that are also daif. Abu Safwan Umawi is trustworthy.
