The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The motto of the believer upon the Sirat will be, 'My Lord, grant safety, grant safety.'"
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا علي بن مسهر عن عبد الرحمن بن إسحق عن النعمان بن سعد
قال رسول الله ﷺ شعار المؤمن على الصراط رب سلم سلم
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan narrated it in Kitab al-Dua, no. 4, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq Kufi with this chain, and he is a well-known daif narrator. Nevertheless, Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, 2/375, and Dhahabi agreed with him. In al-Mustadrak it appears as "Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq Qurashi," which is a mistake, the correct form being Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq Kufi, Abu Shayba Wasiti. It has a corroborating narration in Muslim's Sahih, no. 195, with the wording, "and your Prophet is standing on the bridge saying, Lord, keep safe, keep safe," and in Bukhari, no. 7437, "and the call of the messengers on that day will be, O Allah, keep safe, keep safe."On this subject there is also a report from Abu Hurairah [narrated by Bukhari, no. 7437, and Muslim, no. 182].
