Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rose for prayer at night, he would say the takbir, then say, "Glory be to You, Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your name and exalted is Your majesty. There is no god other than You."Then he would say, "Allah is the Greatest, supremely great."Then he would say, "I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Aleem, from the accursed Shaytan, from his prompting, his arrogance, and his poetry."

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا قام إلى الصلاة بالليل كبر ثم يقول سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك وتبارك اسمك وتعالى جدك ولا إله غيرك ثم يقول الله أكبر كبيرا ثم يقول أعوذ بالله السميع العليم من الشيطان الرجيم من همزه ونفخه ونفثه
[Its isnad is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on those who considered the opening supplication to be "Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika," hadith no. 775, from the hadith of Jafar bin Sulayman with this wording, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 467.There are also narrations on this subject from Ali [Muslim, hadith no. 771], Ayesha [to come, no. 243], Abdullah bin Masud [see Majma al-Zawaid, 2/106], Jabir [Nasai, hadith no. 897], Jubayr bin Mutim [Abu Dawud, hadith no. 764], and Ibn Umar [to come, hadith no. 3592, and Muslim, hadith no. 601].
