The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek refuge with Allah from the pit of grief."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is the pit of grief?"He replied, "A valley in Hell from which Hell itself seeks refuge a hundred times each day."We asked, "Messenger of Allah, who will enter it?"He answered, "The reciters who show off their deeds."He said, this is a hasan gharib hadith.
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثني المحاربي عن عمار بن سيف الضبي عن أبي معان البصري عن ابن سيرين
قال رسول الله ﷺ تعوذوا بالله من جب الحزن قالوا يا رسول الله وما جب الحزن قال واد في جهنم تتعوذ منه جهنم كل يوم مائة مرة قلنا يا رسول الله ومن يدخله قال القراء المراءون بأعمالهم قال هذا حديث حسن غريب
Takhrij, its isnad is daif. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the introduction, chapter on benefiting from knowledge and acting upon it, hadith no. 256, from the hadith of Muharibi with the same wording.Ammar bin Sayf is daif in hadith, and he was a worshiper (Taqrib), and Abu Maan is unknown.
