Sahl bin Saad reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If this world were worth even the wing of a mosquito to Allah, He would not have given a disbeliever a single sip of water from it."

Hasan. Ibn Majah also narrated it in Zuhd, chapter "The Parable of the World," hadith no. 4110, from the hadith of Abu Hazim, through the same chain, and Hakim graded it sahih (4/306), but Dhahabi critiqued him on this. It has many corroborating narrations.
