I prayed one night with the Prophet ﷺ and stood on his left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of my head from behind and moved me to his right side.

صليت مع النبي ﷺ ذات ليلة فقمت عن يساره فأخذ رسول الله ﷺ برأسي من ورائي فجعلني عن يمينه
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari reported it in the Book of Adhan, chapter, "If a man stands to the left of the imam," etc., hadith no. 726, from Qutayba, with this chain, and Muslim reported it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the Prophet's prayer and his supplication at night, hadith no. 763, from the hadith of Amr bin Dinar, with this chain.There is also a report on this subject from Anas [Muslim, hadith no. 512/269].
