A man from Banu Asad. Ziyad said, "This elder narrated to me, while the elder himself was listening, that a man prayed alone behind the row, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to repeat the prayer."
[Sahih] Ibn Majah also narrated it in "Establishing the Prayers," chapter "The Prayer of a Man Behind the Row Alone," hadith no. 1004, from the hadith of Husayn bin Abdul-Rahman, through the same chain. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, hadith no. 319, as did Ibn Hibban (Al-Ihsan: 2197), Ahmad, Ishaq, and others. See the following hadith as well.On this subject there is also a report from Ali bin Shayban [Ibn Majah, hadith no. 1003] and from Ibn Abbas [Bazzar: 1/250, hadith no. 516].
