Someone asked about the saying of Allah the Exalted, "For them is good news in the worldly life" [Yunus 10:64].He replied, "No one has asked me about this verse besides you, except one other man, since I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He said, 'No one has asked me about it besides you since it was revealed. It refers to the righteous dream that a Muslim sees or that is seen for him.'"
[Hasan]. Ahmad narrated it in 6/447 from Sufyan bin Uyayna with the same wording, and he made clear that he heard it directly. Ibn Abdul-Barr graded it hasan. The hadith has many corroborating reports, and with them it is hasan. There is also a report on this subject from Ubada bin Samit [to come at 2275].
