The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The father and mother of the Dajjal will remain for thirty years without a child being born to them. Then a boy will be born to them who is one-eyed, the most harmful of creatures and the least beneficial. His eyes will sleep but his heart will not sleep."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ described the parents to us, saying, "His father will be tall and lean, with a nose like a beak, and his mother will be a massive woman with long arms."Abu Bakra said, "We heard of a newborn among the Jews in Medina, so Zubayr bin Awwam and I went and entered upon his parents, and we found the description given by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fitting them exactly."We asked, "Do you have a child?"They replied, "We remained for thirty years without a child being born to us, then a boy was born to us who is one-eyed, the most harmful of creatures and the least beneficial. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep."So we left them, and there he was, sprawled out in the sun in a velvet cloak of his, mumbling to himself. Then he uncovered his head and asked, "What did you two say?"We said, "Did you hear what we said?"He replied, "Yes. My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep."
حدثنا عبد الله بن معاوية الجمحي حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد
قال رسول الله ﷺ يمكث أبو الدجال وأمه ثلاثين عاما لا يولد لهما ولد ثم يولد لهما غلام أعور أضر شيء وأقله منفعة تنام عيناه ولا ينام قلبه ثم نعت لنا رسول الله ﷺ أبويه فقال أبوه طوال ضرب اللحم كأن أنفه منقار وأمه فرضاخية طويلة اليدين فقال أبو بكرة فسمعنا بمولود في اليهود بالمدينة فذهبت أنا والزبير بن العوام حتى دخلنا على أبويه فإذا نعت رسول الله ﷺ فيهما فقلنا هل لكما ولد فقالا مكثنا ثلاثين عاما لا يولد لنا ولد ثم ولد لنا غلام أعور أضر شيء وأقله منفعة تنام عيناه ولا ينام قلبه قال فخرجنا من عندهما فإذا هو منجدل في الشمس في قطيفة له وله همهمة فتكشف عن رأسه فقال ما قلتما قلنا وهل سمعت ما قلنا قال نعم تنام عيناي ولا ينام قلبي
