The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever attends the evening prayer in congregation, it is as if he stood in prayer for half the night, and whoever prays both the evening prayer and the dawn prayer in congregation, it is as if he stood in prayer the entire night."
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا بشر بن السري حدثنا سفيان عن عثمان بن حكيم عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عمرة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من شهد العشاء في جماعة كان له قيام نصف ليلة ومن صلى العشاء والفجر في جماعة كان له كقيام ليلة
Muslim also narrated it in Al-Masajid, chapter on the merit of praying Isha and Fajr in congregation, hadith no. 656, through Sufyan Thawri with the same chain.On this subject there are also narrations from Ibn Umar [Ahmad 2/111], Abu Hurairah [Bukhari, no. 657, and Muslim, no. 651], Anas [Ahmad 3/151, 152], Umara bin Ruwayba [Muslim, no. 634, in the chapter on Fajr and elsewhere], Jundab bin Abdullah Bajali [to come, no. 222], Ubayy bin Kaab [Abu Dawud, no. 554], and Abu Musa, the mark referring to the hadith of Bukhari, no. 651, and Muslim, no. 662, and Burayda [to come, no. 223].
