During the trial involving Uthman bin Affan, he said, "I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There will be a time of trial in which the one sitting is better than the one standing, the one standing is better than the one walking, and the one walking is better than the one running.'"Someone asked, "What if a man enters my house and stretches out his hand to kill me?"He replied, "Be like the son of Adam."
