Whoever claims that we possess anything we recite besides the Book of Allah and this scroll, a scroll containing rules about the ages of camels and matters concerning injuries, has spoken falsely. He also said that it contains the following statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Madinah is sacred territory between Ayr and Thawr. Whoever introduces a heretical innovation into it, or shelters someone who does so, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Allah will accept from him no obligatory or voluntary act on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever claims descent from someone other than his father, or attaches himself as a client to people other than his rightful patrons, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. No obligatory or voluntary act will be accepted from him. The protection granted by the Muslims is one, extended even by the lowest among them."
