Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever inherits the wealth inherits the right of patronage."

Darussalam
Its isnad is daif. Ibn Lahia narrated it before his memory deteriorated, and he stated explicitly that he heard it directly, as recorded by Ahmad, 1/22, where an addition from Umar 
appears at the end, though its chain is daif.
