The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted the use of incantations for the treatment of scorpion stings, the evil eye, and skin sores.Mahmud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Yahya bin Adam and Abu Naeem narrated to us, they said Sufyan narrated to us from Asim Ahwal from Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Harith from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted the use of incantations for the treatment of scorpion stings and skin sores.

أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص في الرقية من الحمة والعين والنملة حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا يحيى بن آدم وأبو نعيم قالا حدثنا سفيان عن عاصم الأحول عن يوسف بن عبد الله بن الحارث عن أنس بن مالك أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص في الرقية من الحمة والنملة

Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Greetings, chapter on the recommendation of ruqya for the evil eye, ant bite, scorpion sting, and the effect of an evil glance, hadith no. 2196, from the hadith of Yahya bin Adam, with the same wording.On this subject there are also narrations from Burayda [Muslim, no. 220], Imran bin Husayn [to come, no. 2057], Jabir [Muslim, no. 2199], Ayesha [Bukhari, no. 5741, Muslim, no. 2193, Ibn Majah, no. 3517, and others], Talq bin Ali [Ahmad, 4/23], Amr bin Hazm [Ibn Majah, no. 3519], and Abu Khuzama from his father [to come, nos. 2065, 2148].
