[Sahih]. Bayhaqi also narrated it: 9/342, from the hadith of Yazid bin Zuray through the same route, and it has a hasan corroborating narration in Ibn Majah, no. 3492, and elsewhere.There is also a narration on this topic from Ubayy bin Kaab [Ahmad: 5/115] and Jabir [Muslim, no. 2207].
