The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never criticized any food. If he had an appetite for it, he ate it, and if not, he left it.
حدثنا أحمد بن محمد أخبرنا عبد الله بن المبارك عن سفيان عن الأعمش عن أبي حازم
ما عاب رسول الله ﷺ طعاما قط كان إذا اشتهاه أكله وإلا تركه
Its sourcing, agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Foods, chapter "What the Prophet ﷺ Criticized Regarding Food," hadith no. 5409, and Muslim, hadith no. 2064, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, with this wording.
