The Prophet ﷺ said to Ashajj of Abdul-Qays, "You have two qualities that Allah loves, forbearance and deliberation."

أن النبي ﷺ قال لأشج عبد القيس إن فيك خصلتين يحبهما الله الحلم والأناة
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Faith, chapter on the command to believe in Allah Almighty and His Messenger and the laws of the religion, etc., hadith no. 17, from the hadith of Qurra bin Khalid, through the same route.There is also a report on this subject from Ashaj Asri [Ahmad: 4/205, whose name is Mundhir bin Aidh Asri].
