The Prophet ﷺ forbade breathing into a vessel or blowing into it.
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عبد الكريم الجزري عن عكرمة
أن النبي ﷺ نهى أن يتنفس في الإناء أو ينفخ فيه
[Its isnad is sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in Ashribah, Chapter on Blowing into a Drink and Breathing into It, no. 3728, as did Ibn Majah, no. 3429, and Humaydi, no. 526, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, through the same chain.
