The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wine comes from these two trees, the date palm and the grapevine."
حدثنا أحمد بن محمد أخبرنا عبد الله بن المبارك حدثنا الأوزاعي وعكرمة بن عمار قالا حدثنا أبو كثير السحيمي قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ الخمر من هاتين الشجرتين النخلة والعنبة
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Drinks, the chapter explaining that everything fermented from dates and grapes is called wine, hadith 14/1985, from the hadith of Uzai, through the same chain.
