Regarding the vessels that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade, inform us using your terminology and then explain it to us in our own terminology.He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the hantamah, which is the clay jar. He forbade the dubbaa, which is the gourd. He forbade the Naqir, which is the trunk of a palm tree that is hollowed out or carved. And he forbade the muzaffat, which is the vessel coated with pitch. He commanded that drinks be steeped in waterskins instead."

عما نهى عنه رسول الله ﷺ من الأوعية أخبرناه بلغتكم وفسره لنا بلغتنا فقال نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الحنتمة وهي الجرة ونهى عن الدباء وهي القرعة ونهى عن النقير وهو أصل النخل ينقر نقرا أو ينسج نسجا ونهى عن المزفت وهي المقير وأمر أن ينبذ في الأسقية
