The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to me and asked, "Do you have anything to eat?"I replied, "Nothing except some dry crusts of bread and vinegar."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Bring it here. No household is without seasoning when it has vinegar."

دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فقال هل عندكم شيء فقلت لا إلا كسر يابسة وخل فقال النبي ﷺ قربيه فما أقفر بيت من أدم فيه خل
Sourcing, hasan. Tabarani also reported it in Al-Kabir (24/437, no. 1068) from the hadith of Abu Kurayb through this route, and its chain is daif. It has another route in Hakim (4/54) and elsewhere, and the hadith has two corroborating witnesses that have already been mentioned.
