He saw the Prophet ﷺ cut a piece from the shoulder of a sheep and eat from it, then proceed to the prayer without performing ablution.
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري
أنه رأى النبي ﷺ احتز من كتف شاة فأكل منها ثم مضى إلى الصلاة ولم يتوضأ
Agreed upon (Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari related it in the Book of Foods, chapter on a singed sheep, the shoulder, and the side, hadith no. 5422, from the hadith of Maamar, and Muslim, hadith no. 355, from the hadith of Zuhri through the same route.On this subject there is also a hadith from Mughira bin Shuba [Tirmidhi in Shamail, hadith no. 165, and Abu Dawud, hadith no. 188].
