The polytheists kept the Messenger of Allah ﷺ occupied from four prayers on the day of the Battle of the Trench, until as much of the night had passed as Allah willed. He then ordered Bilal, who gave the call to prayer, then announced the iqamah, and the Prophet prayed Dhuhr. Then Bilal announced the iqamah, and he prayed Asr. Then he announced the iqamah, and he prayed Maghrib. Then he announced the iqamah, and he prayed Isha.
