The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should walk in only one sandal. Either wear both or go barefoot in both."
حدثنا قتيبة عن مالك ح و حدثنا الأنصاري حدثنا معن حدثنا مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يمشي أحدكم في نعل واحدة لينعلهما جميعا أو ليحفهما جميعا
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Dress, chapter "One should not walk in a single sandal," hadith 5855, and Muslim, hadith 2097, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain, and it is in Muwatta, 2/916 (Yahya).There is also a report on this subject from Jabir [Muslim, hadith 2099].
