They mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ their having slept past the prayer, and he said, "There is no negligence in sleep. Negligence is only in wakefulness. So when one of you forgets a prayer or sleeps through it, let him pray it as soon as he remembers."

ذكروا للنبي ﷺ نومهم عن الصلاة فقال إنه ليس في النوم تفريط إنما التفريط في اليقظة فإذا نسي أحدكم صلاة أو نام عنها فليصلها إذا ذكرها
Muslim also recorded it in the Book of Mosques, chapter on making up missed prayers and the recommendation of hastening to make them up, hadith 681, from the narration of Thabit Bunani with this wording.
