Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ put on a new garment, he would name it by its kind, whether a turban, a shirt, or a cloak, then he would say, "O Allah, all praise is Yours. You have clothed me with it. I ask You for the good of it and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for."
