Whenever the Prophet ﷺ wore a turban, he would let the end of it hang down between his shoulders.Nafi said, "Ibn Umar used to let the end of his turban hang down between his shoulders."Ubaydullah said, "I saw Qasim and Salim doing the same."

[Hasan]. Aqeeli narrated it: 3/21, from the hadith of Yahya bin Muhammad, through the same chain. The hadith has many corroborating narrations found in Khatib: 11/293, Muslim, no. 1359, Haythami (Majma al-Zawaid: 5/120), and others. There is also a version in the chapter narrated from Ali [Abu Dawud Tayalisi in his Musnad, no. 154].
