This hadith is sahih. Nasai also narrated it in 8/161, no. 5151 (Book of Adornment, chapter on the prohibition of gold for men) from the hadith of Nafi with the same wording. The hadith has many corroborating narrations in Abu Dawud, no. 4057, and Nasai, no. 5149, and others, and it is among the mutawatir hadiths.On this subject there are also narrations from Umar (to come, no. 1721), Ali (Abu Dawud, no. 4057), Uqba bin Amir (Nasai, no. 5139, and Tahawi in Maani Athar, 257/14), Anas (Bukhari, no. 5832, and Muslim, no. 2073), Huzaifa (Bukhari, no. 5831, and Muslim, no. 2067), Umm Hani (perhaps referring to the hadith of Tabarani in Kabir, 437/24, no. 1069), Abdullah bin Amr (Ibn Abu Shayba, 164/8), Imran bin Husayn (to come, no. 1738), Abdullah bin Zubayr (Bukhari, no. 5833, and Muslim, no. 2069), Jabir (Ahmad, 337/3, 342, 347, and Tahawi in Maani Athar, 254/4), Abu Rayhana (Abu Dawud, no. 4049), Ibn Umar (Bukhari, no. 5835, and Muslim, no. 2068), and Wathila bin Asqa (Tabarani in Kabir, 97/22, no. 234).
