The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Ali, there are three things you should not delay. The prayer when its time has come, the funeral when it is present, and the unmarried woman when you find a suitable match for her."
حدثنا قتيبة قال حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب عن سعيد بن عبد الله الجهني عن محمد بن عمر بن علي بن أبي طالب عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ قال له يا علي ثلاث لا تؤخرها الصلاة إذا آنت والجنازة إذا حضرت والأيم إذا وجدت لها كفئا
[Its chain is daif]. Ahmad narrated it in 1/105 from the hadith of Ibn Wahb with the same wording, and Ibn Majah abridged it, no. 1486. Hakim graded it sahih in 2/162-163, as did Dhahabi, and Iraqi graded it hasan. There is some question regarding the narration of Umar from his father, but the substance of the hadith has corroborating evidence in meaning.
