[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Jihad, chapter on inciting animals against one another, hadith 2562, from Abu Kurayb with the same wording. Amash narrated using "an" without specifying direct hearing, and Abu Yahya is weak in transmission (Nayl al-Maqsud, hadith 538). The hadith has another route containing Layth bin Abu Salim, and he is daif.
