The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever meets Allah without any mark of jihad upon him will meet Allah with a deficiency in him."
حدثنا علي بن حجر حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن إسمعيل بن رافع عن سمي عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من لقي الله بغير أثر من جهاد لقي الله وفيه ثلمة
[Its chain of transmission is daif]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in Jihad, chapter on the severity of neglecting jihad, hadith 2763, from the hadith of Walid bin Muslim, with the same wording.Ismail bin Rafi is daif. See Tashil Hajah, hadith 1337.
