One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her, and she fed him, then sat grooming his head for lice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep, then woke up smiling. She said, "What makes you smile, Messenger of Allah?"He said, "Some people of my nation were shown to me as warriors in the cause of Allah, riding upon the surface of this sea like kings upon thrones," or "like kings upon thrones."She said, "Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He make me one of them."So he prayed for her. Then he laid down his head and slept again, then woke up smiling. She said, "What makes you smile, Messenger of Allah?"He said, "Some people of my nation were shown to me as warriors in the cause of Allah," similar to what he had said the first time. She said, "Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He make me one of them."He said, "You are among the first ones."Umm Haram sailed on the sea during the time of Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan, and when she came ashore she was thrown from her mount and died.
