The Prophet ﷺ said, "No servant who dies and has goodness with Allah would wish to return to this world, even if he were given the world and everything in it, except the martyr. Because of the excellence of martyrdom that he sees, he wishes to return to this world so that he might be killed once again."
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا إسمعيل بن جعفر عن حميد
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال ما من عبد يموت له عند الله خير يحب أن يرجع إلى الدنيا وأن له الدنيا وما فيها إلا الشهيد لما يرى من فضل الشهادة فإنه يحب أن يرجع إلى الدنيا فيقتل مرة أخرى
