A cow may be sacrificed on behalf of seven people.I asked, "What if it has given birth?"He replied, "Slaughter its calf along with it."I asked, "What about a lame animal?"He replied, "It is acceptable as long as it can reach the place of sacrifice."I asked, "What about one with a broken horn?"He replied, "There is no harm in it. We were instructed," or he said, "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed us to examine the eyes and ears carefully."
