The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed two horned rams of black and white color. He slaughtered them with his own hand, pronounced the name of Allah, said "Allahu Akbar," and placed his foot on their sides.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة
ضحى رسول الله ﷺ بكبشين أملحين أقرنين ذبحهما بيده وسمى وكبر ووضع رجله على صفاحهما
Grading: Slaughter, agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Sacrifices, chapter on takbir at, hadith 5565, and Muslim, hadith 1966, from Qutayba with the same wording.On this subject there are also narrations from Ali [coming up at 1495], Ayesha [Abu Dawud, hadith 3122], Abu Hurairah [Abu Dawud, hadith 3122], Abu Ayub [I did not find it], Jabir [Abu Dawud, hadith 2795], Abu Darda [Ahmad, 5:196], Abu Rafi [Ahmad, 6:66], Ibn Umar [I did not find it], and Abu Bakra [coming up at 1520].
